IS THE EVENT BEING AIRED ON TELEVISION?

The event will be broadcast LIVE on TVNZ 1

TICKET CATEGORIES AND PROOF OF AGE ON ENTRY

Infants under 2 years old are free with an adult Children are aged under 14 years Adults are aged 14 + Concession tickets are for student with current valid student ID and for pensioners 65 + You may be requested ID at gate entry to validate the ticket category of the attendee at the discretion of the gate staff

EVENT TICKETS (ENTRY TO THE GROUND)

Entry to the Event Site will be granted with presentation of:

  • a valid bar-coded ticket
  • a valid bar-coded print-at-home PDF ticket; or
  • a valid bar-coded Passbook ticket (electronic ticket on mobile device)

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

  • Clothing must conform to reasonable standards of decency.
  • Where a dress code is indicated on the entry ticket, that dress code shall be adhered to.
  • No bare feet are permitted.
  • No gang patches are permitted.
  • In the event of the patron wearing a costume or other “dress-up” clothing, the clothing shall not be considered obscene or offensive by Event Management Staff.
  • No costumes promoting, or inciting violence are permitted.
  • No scary clown costumes are permitted.
  • Strictly no weapons or offensive objects are permitted.

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE VENUE?

The following items are permitted in the Venue:

  • Sealed plastic bottles (up to 1.5 litre in size) containing non-alcoholic beverages for personal consumption.
  • Empty plastic bottles (up to 1.5 litre in size) to be filled using water provided at the Venue.
  • Small amounts of non-commercial food intended for personal consumption.
  • Soft chilly bags smaller than 20L.
  • Deck chairs – to be used in the designated areas only.
  • Prams and strollers within designated areas.
  • Thermos flasks

WHAT CAN’T I BRING INTO THE VENUE?

The following items are not permitted in the Venue and will be confiscated:

  • Alcohol not purchased at the Venue.
  • Animals with the exception of guide dogs.
  • Drink containers with broken seals not purchased at the Venue.
  • Drink containers larger than 1.5 litre.
  • Cans (including aerosol cans), glass bottles and any breakable container.
  • Illicit drugs.
  • Bean bags or inflatable chairs.
  • Dangerous items/weapons – including, but not limited to knives, flares, fireworks and laser pointers.
  • Skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, scooters and bicycles.
  • Umbrellas within public seated/embankment areas.
  • Sound amplifying devices including whistles, loudhailers, air horns or similar devices.
  • Musical instruments unless pre-registered with Event Management Staff.
  • Prams and strollers within public seated/embankment areas.
  • Hard chilly bins and/or picnic hampers.
  • Flags, banners, etc. that may, at the sole discretion of the Event Management Staff, be considered too large or contain profanity or messages that could be deemed offensive. In all cases flag poles must be limited in length to no more than one hand width wider than the associated flag/banner.
  • Photographic, video or audio recording equipment for any purpose other than private non-commercial purposes, which may include, without limitation, video and/or audio recorders, camera tripods, monopods, selfie sticks or lenses with a total focal strength of greater than 200mm and commercial digital video equipment. The Event Management Staff will, at their sole discretion, determine whether or not an item is intended for personal or commercial use.
  • Any other item which the Event Management Staff (at their sole discretion) deems to be a prohibited item which may be a danger to, or inconvenience any other patron.

WILL THERE BE WATER AVAILABLE?

There will be free water available throughout the venue. Please make sure you stay hydrated and weather smart by bringing sunscreen, sun hats and a jacket if required.

CAN I TAKE FOOD AND DRINK WITH ME INTO HAGLEY OVAL?

Patrons are permitted to bring a home packed lunch and non-alcoholic beverages which are sealed plastic and no larger than 1 litre. These must fit into a soft bag no larger than 300mm deep x 400mm wide. No commercially bought food (e.g. McDonalds, KFC, Burger King etc) may be brought into the venue, but you are welcome to bring small amounts of non-commercially produced food for personal consumption.

WHAT TIME DO THE BARS OPEN?

Hagley Oval bars will open at 5pm, along with the gate opening.

CAN I SMOKE?

Smoking Policy: The venue operates with a strict No Smoking policy and you must comply with any such policy.

WILL I BE ALLOWED IN IF I HAVE BEEN DRINKING PRIOR TO ARRIVAL?

There will be zero tolerance for intoxication. Those who arrive at the gates intoxicated will be refused entry into the event, and patrons who become intoxicated, will be told to leave the venue.

AM I ABLE TO GO IN AND OUT OF THE EVENT DURING THE GAME?

You are permitted to leave the event. Passouts are available on exit but you must have this passout and ticket/s purchased in order to return.

MUST I BRING MY TICKET TO GAIN ENTRY TO THE EVENT?

All ticket holders must present their physical ticket to gain entry to the event. Please remember No Ticket, No Entry!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOSE MY TICKET?

If you misplace your ticket, please contact info@ducoevents.com. Alternatively you can head to the Flicket Box office windows (from gates opening) on game day and they can re print your ticket/s. Please note you will need the credit card used to purchase the tickets.

IS THE EVENT ALLOCATED SEATING?

General Admission tickets give you access to sit anywhere around the ground, except the Pavilion or the Corporate Marquee areas, The Family Zone GA ticket give you access to this alcohol free kids area as well as the rest of the GA areas.

CAN I GET A REFUND FOR MY TICKETS?

No refunds, however you can give your ticket to someone else if you decide not to attend. Please note if you hold a concession or junior ticket an adult cannot use this ticket.

WILL THERE BE DOOR SALES?

If tickets are still available they can be purchased via the box office windows (from gates opening).

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION FOR THIS EVENT?

No age restriction. Children are 4-14 years are free 3 and under.

COVID SAFE

Currently New Zealand is at Alert Level 1 which means that is no limit on the number of people who can attend a social gathering or event or enter a public facility. However, we all need to be ready in case COVID-19 reappears in our community.
